A Successful Season

Saturday night, Deanna, Nikki, and I traveled with our Aunt Delaine to Omaha to watch our hockey team play in the fifth and final playoff game. This game would decide it all - who won the championship. Talk about intense - it was an extremely exciting game! But, we came out on the short end of the stick, and lost a heartbreaker, 4-3 in overtime. It was a tough pill to swallow. But we had an amazing season and an incredible playoff run, and we are so proud of these guys! We had a great time in Omaha and made many memories! We can't wait until next season!

:Did I mention it was pouring out? Did wonders for the hair...:

:We had a fun time at the BassPro Shop across the street from the arena - here we are testing our skills at a shooting gallery:

:I was impressed with myself! I hit quite a few targets!:

:I have no idea who this is, except it's a Omaha player before warmups:

:This is not a good picture, but it's the best I've got:

:This is an official's timeout!:

:Intermission:

:We got to sit with many other Black Hawk fans, which was nice:

:Omaha 3, Black Hawks 3 - time for OVERTIME!:

:Nikki with her favorite player, Joe Howe, after the game. I think it was tough for them to smile for pictures after a loss like that:

Great season, guys! Go Black Hawks!
