A decade old....

I can't say how bad I feel about how long I have put this post off. Nikki's 10th birthday was last Monday, and here it is Sunday and I'm just now getting the post up. I wanted to include the pictures from her day and they were just downloaded Friday. Anyways, Nikki had a wonderful birthday - we had her party with just our family and Grandma in the early afternoon and her party with her friends after they got out of school. Her theme was "Wacky Olympics" - we played fun wacky games similar to those at the Olympics and the winner would get a gold medal.

Our a nutshell

An anniversary, mini-putt, and painting - that basically describes our week. Thought I'd share through some photos the fun we've been having!
The two lovebirds!

For Mom and Dad's 24th anniversary, we went mini-putting. While we were there, we decided to try the driving range....that went well.

I am not meant to be a golfer.....

Dad and Mom are old pros!

On to the paint! We were busy painting our entire basement in our flooded home.

You wouldn't believe the difference it made! If you look at some of my old posts and compare the difference - what an improvement!

We enjoyed plugging in some Gaither and Ernie Haase & Signature Sound CDs to help pass the time! Music always makes hard work seem easier!

Our new windows.....insulated and painted!!

Insulating the windows

You can really tell the difference in this picture

I thought I would leave you with some humor....this is a video taken at the driving range. Now you can see my terrible form! It was rather embarrassing....sorry it's turned the wrong way. The audio is ahead of the video - sorry about that!

Hope this helps brighten up your day!
