Just a Glimpse

We returned today from a wonderful but exhausting week in a suburb of Chicago called Crestwood. THANK YOU for your prayers and thoughts as we endeavored to minister to those who were in attendance at the revival! God's presence was so evident in the services and we trust that people received help this week!!

We also had time to have a little fun, venturing to downtown Chicago! This was such a highlight for me! I don't have time to post all of our pictures today, but I thought I would post just one - check back soon for more!

Tomorrow, Dad and I will be going to Climbing Hill, Iowa for a weekend revival -please be in prayer for this time of renewal! Here are some specific things you could be praying with us about:

~ Protection while traveling
~ For God's anointing to be upon Dad and I - we truly need HIS strength this weekend - please pray that He will uplift, strengthen, and refresh us as we endeavor to share!
~ That those in attendance will be changed, challenged, and encouraged!

Thank you for your prayers - and check back soon for Chicago pictures!

Snuggies

You have probably seen the TV commercials for those warm "Snuggies" - you know, the ones that have sleeves so that you can be warm but still use your hands? Nikki has been wanting one for a really long time and at the last hockey game, they auctioned off one that had the logo of our local hockey team embroidered on the front! Mom bought it for her and surprised her when she got home from the revival in Kansas! Nikki was SO excited!

This last week has been so much fun! A group from MidAmerica Nazarene University called Gospel Station came up to our church to do our Vacation Bible School! They also did some things with our teen group. Our cousin, Rachel, is in this group, so it was so much fun to be able to do things with her. Tuesday night, we got together with our pastor's kids and the MNU group and played ultimate frisbee and Capture the Flag! It was a blast! There were many bumps, bruises, and injuries from pine cones (Love ya, Rach!). =)

Last night, after church, we all went out to eat and then came back to our house and played an exciting game of Spoons!

Saturday, we leave for Chicago! Please be in prayer for a safe trip and wonderful services!

Chicago and Sidebars

This is a picture of the gorgeous skyline of Chicago - we took it last March when we were there and I am extremely excited because we are going back in two weeks!! I love it - it was so beautiful and I loved all the excitement and the hustle and bustle!

So, this is a rather random post, because no camera + no exciting events = no pictures.

So keeping that in mind, I would like to do something I've never done before. I don't know how many of you have ever browsed through my sidebar, but I wanted to highlight some of the things that are on there.

I'd like to encourage you to visit our ministry website: www.delrittgersministries.com . It's full of things to look at - including our ministry schedule, more photos, and a guestbook you can sign! =)

The "Followers" section of my sidebar I'd really like you check out! If you are not yet a follower of my blog, please become one!

Check out the "Fireproof" movie website - they have so much to offer there!

Be sure to look at all the blogs on my blogroll - they are all fabulous and are fun to look at!

If there is one thing I would really encourage you to look at, it would The Rebelution website. It is full of amazing things - I encourage all teenagers, in particular, to read "Do Hard Things" by Brett and Alex Harris, the founders of the The Rebelution. It's an amazing book!

I just recently added the search engine to my sidebar - if there is a certain topic you want to read about on my blog, just search it, and all posts that had to do with that topic will pop up!

Be sure to check out my Playlist - those songs on there are some of my favorites!

At the bottom of my sidebar, there's a place where you can subscribe to my blog! Subscribe today! =)

So that's basically what I wanted to highlight - of course check out the rest of the sidebar (favorite websites, archives, and etc.)!

This may have been a pointless, boring post, but I hope somebody enjoyed it. I promise an exciting post really soon! =)

Pampered Chef Party

A few weeks ago, Deanna hosted a Pampered Chef party for a lady in our church who is a consultant! It was so much fun to be able to eat a yummy meal that all of the ladies got to prepare with Pampered Chef products! Their products are wonderful! I joke with my mom that if only I had good products like that, I would cook a whole lot more often! =)

Deanna snitching a taste

Some of the ladies slicing tomatoes

Enjoying watching some of the humorous attempts with some of the products

The party was a smashing success! Do any of you have any Pampered Chef products? If so, what is your favorite one?

We'd also like to give you a little update on our revival schedule. Last week, Deanna and Dad were in Montrose, Iowa and had a wonderful revival! Tomorrow, Dad and Nikki are leaving for Minneapolis, Kansas - please pray for safe travels and for a good week for them.
