Our week...in a nutshell

An anniversary, mini-putt, and painting - that basically describes our week. Thought I'd share through some photos the fun we've been having!
The two lovebirds!

For Mom and Dad's 24th anniversary, we went mini-putting. While we were there, we decided to try the driving range....that went well.

I am not meant to be a golfer.....

Dad and Mom are old pros!

On to the paint! We were busy painting our entire basement in our flooded home.

You wouldn't believe the difference it made! If you look at some of my old posts and compare the difference - what an improvement!

We enjoyed plugging in some Gaither and Ernie Haase & Signature Sound CDs to help pass the time! Music always makes hard work seem easier!

Our new windows.....insulated and painted!!

Insulating the windows

You can really tell the difference in this picture

I thought I would leave you with some humor....this is a video taken at the driving range. Now you can see my terrible form! It was rather embarrassing....sorry it's turned the wrong way. The audio is ahead of the video - sorry about that!

Hope this helps brighten up your day!

Hi Tori,

I don't know you but I know the Mallys (I'm "Rebekah in MS") and so I found your blog.....just had to leave a comment--I can't believe there's actually someone else who likes the Gaithers and Signature Sound!! We LOVE them!!!

Blessings,
Rebekah

Hello Rebekah!

Thank you so much for your comment! How cool is it that you enjoy those groups as well!! They're our favorite!

That is so cool that your mom grew up in Iowa....and so near to where we live! It's always great to meet a fellow Iowan!

Have a good Labor Day!

I bet I've heard Gaither songs live on TV you can only find on LP now... ;-) First time I sang in church it was "I Am a Promise" :-p Lots of people know and love Gaither music, but so few know they wrote it, or want to admit it publicly - especially at your age :-) If you guys ever get farther northeast in Iowa (think the Minnesota/Wisconsin/Iowa corner) or want to, for that matter, I know a little church whose pastor is my husband... ;-) Bet we could squeeze you guys into our (not so) busy schedule for a nice little concert or to bring some life to our otherwise quite small church services! :-D
