On the road....

Just wanted to bring you a little up to speed on our upcoming schedule: Tomorrow, Dad, Deanna, and I will head down to Knoxville, Iowa for a youth revival at the Nazarene Church there. We'll be there from tomorrow night until Sunday evening, doing services for teens on the weekend, and the entire church on Sunday.

Please be in prayer for these revival services - all of us are battling colds and Dad is just getting over being sick, so we need God to intervene on our behalf! Also pray that the weather will be good for traveling, that there will be a good turnout, and that the teens present will become saved, sanctified, changed, and will grow in their walk with the Lord!

The joys of winter.....

Winter: snow, cold, ice...not something I enjoy! :) Winter has hit us hard - in fact, right now we are in the midst of an "almost" blizzard! Lots of wind, snow, and ice - not to mention FREEZING!! So, today was a lovely day to drink hot chocolate, read, work on our puzzle, and and watch a movie, as well as make some peanut butter cookies! I thought I'd bring you up to speed a little on our week! :)

15 Years....

Well, 15 years have passed since the day I was born! Well, technically, 15 years and 2 days, since my birthday was Saturday! :) I had a great day - my family surprised me with a "Pamper Party"!! I was pampered all day with massages, a facial, a pedicure/manicure, a foot-soaking session, complete with a makeover!! It was a WONDERFUL day!! It ended wonderfully with a trip to Waterloo for the hockey game - and we won, 2-0!! Before the game, we had a wonderful "birthday dinner" at Doughy Joey's in Waterloo!! My cousin, Rachel, called while we were eating and serenaded me with an interesting rendition of "Happy Birthday"....thanks, Rach! :) So, all in all, it was a GREAT day!! It feels so different to finally be 15!! (Well, maybe.....) :) Here are a few pictures from our day!!
